Our Programs
Widows, Young Women, and Orphans Empowerment
Our goal is to empower 100 women in Kenya by 2030 to achieve financial stability and actively participate in the economy through employment, business creation, and financial inclusion. This empowerment enables women to provide for their families and contribute to their children's education. We support widows and young women in creating income-generating opportunities to secure life essentials, including food, clothing, shelter, and education. Our interventions include training in business skills, soap making, and smart agriculture for food security and climate change adaptation. Currently, 20 women are involved in the project. Additionally, we offer spiritual nourishment by discussing the gospel during visits to identified widows and orphans.
Education Scholarship and Support for Orphans
Every child deserves access to education, a basic human right that can transform lives. Education changes everything for a child, their family, and the community. According to UNESCO, global poverty could be halved if all adults completed secondary education. Our Education Program focuses on improving the quality of life for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) by providing school fees and learning supplies, including books, uniforms, and stationery. We collaborate with community members, health volunteers, and teachers to implement this program, reaching a total of 15 children.
Challenges
Lack of funds and resources has hindered our ability to implement programs effectively, leaving many needy areas unattended. We seek support from partners in the form of in-kind, technical, material, and financial resources.
